P.U.R. Muller Martini: Currently in development is a P.U.R. side and spine glue system for the Muller Panda 2 Binder. Obvious hurdles are the clamp stability, ease of use, H.M.I. interface, book flare and suitable delivery from binder. We anticipate testing of this system Feb/March 2012.
We are able to offer SEMKO calipers for Muller stitchers as a retrofit part. Fully installed and integrated with machine controls.
Muller Gatherer Ripple Start & Stop: We have developed a ‘Parts-kit’ to fit the older Muller 201-256 gatherers. This enables ripple start & stop of all feeders. We can offer a reject to compliment this giving uninterrupted production. The first customer for this system has been “Cox & Wyman” (CPI Group) in Reading UK: The improvement to their production has been dramatic. They have a 256 gatherer with 30 feeders and change jobs 10 – 15 times per shift, the time saved in running in and out of the sections will enable 2 additional jobs to be run on a shift.
