We have extensive knowledge and experience of the Ratio binder. This medium range binder with a maximum speed of 6000 bpm is becoming increasingly popular in europe. Mainly due to the excellent quality of the finished product, the Milling and spine prep ( with equalizer head ) gives a superb finish to the raw sigs, then innovative vertical sideglue applicator wheels, twin nipping stations and clamping book release on the delivery help to create a superb bind.

Kolbus System Binder

This machine has just been moved by us.

We removed it from Bath Press and reinstalled it in Mackays of Chatham. The move was within the CPI group when Bath Press closed down in 2007. The installation was very successful and along with the repair work carried out at the same time the line will compliment the other binders at Chatham.

This line had end-papering, High frequency driers, book saw and a pair of 151 trimmers.
